    Summer Festival 28 - 30/06/2024 We are pleased to inform you that the Summer Festival, which is the Club's biggest money-raising event of the year, will go ahead from 28th to 30th June 2024. ​ We begin on Friday, 28th June with a Bonkers Bingo (£10 per player) and Karaoke night. Tickets are now available for this event. Please contact the clubhouse in person or telephone 0191 584 1348 asap for tickets. ​ Saturday, 29th June is our live bands day/night. The programme is: 2.30pm Daniel Maple 4.30pm Jamagotchi 6.30pm The Codgers 8.30pm T-Rox We are expecting huge demand for this event and advise you to contact the clubhouse in person or telephone 0191 584 1348 asap for tickets. Sunday, 30th June is our Family Fun day. Entry is free but all activities are chargeable.​The event programme will be available to download from our website shortly. You are advised to regularly visit this page for up to date information. ​ Hot and cold food is available on all 3 days. ​ No alcohol or food to be brought into the venue. Please be aware that a bag search will be in operation by a security company. ​ Programme could be subject to change. Sponsors The staging costs are circa £10,000 and we could not stage the event without sponsorship . The cost to sponsor is £100 per keg of cask ale or cider for which we will:- - provide you with two complimentary tickets for the Saturday worth £24 (entry is guaranteed) - provide you with two half-pints of either cask ale or cider - display your name on the sponsors' board in the clubhouse - display your name in the programme next to the keg/cider you have sponsored - display your name on a large banner for the full week-end. ​ If you can help, or perhaps join with others or know someone who can, we would be pleased to hear from you.     Cricket The Club runs 4 senior teams (which include many juniors) and 5 junior teams: Team League Captain/Manager 1st X1 NEPL Division 1 Shaun Hauxwell 2nd X1 NEPL Division 3 Ian Hauxwell Academy XI NEPL Sunday Division 1 Logan Barton Midweek XI NEPL Midweek Lee Bunting U9 Friendlies Only Tom Raine U11 Durham Cricket Board U11 Bill Bailey U13 Durham Cricket Board U13 Bill Bailey U15 Durham Cricket Board U15 Tom Acton / Ian Hauxwell U18 Durham Cricket Board U18 Tom Acton / Logan Barton All players are welcome, irrespective of age, gender, ability or experience. ​ Our Junior Academy was set up in 2003. Its aim is to provide opportunities for young people to play cricket and to develop their cricketing skills. ​ The Club is proud of its record in giving many local young people their first taste of cricket, whilst at the same time supporting the most talented youngsters in achieving representative honours at county and national level. ​ Currently, 3 players of the Durham County Cricket Club senior squad, i.e. Ben Raine, Scott Borthwick and Matthew Potts, all represented Philadelphia CCC at junior level.

    All Stars Cricket Sessions Several Dates Good news! Our 2024 All Stars programme is now open for registration. If you have a son or daughter aged 4-8 who is looking to get into cricket, you are welcome to sign up. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please forward these details onto them. Our 8 Sessions will run on a Sunday morning (11-11.45am), starting on 12th May, i.e. Sunday 12th May 2024 Sunday 19th May 2024 Sunday 26th May 2024 Sunday 2nd June 2024 Sunday 9th June 2024 Sunday 16th June 2024 Sunday 23rd June 2024 Sunday 7th July 2024 Our programmes provide an excellent introduction to the game of cricket and our family friendly Club .
