Ins And Outs
The Club is pleased to announce four new signings to assist us in our campaign in the NEPL Division 1 next season.
Anthony Watson has transferred from Seaham Park and is a right arm, aggressive, medium/fast bowler.
Dan Pearson has transferred from Littletown and is a right handed, attacking, high order batsman.
After several months of hard work we have finally succeeded in appointing our new professional for the 2020 season.
Ajay Jadav Mandal is a 24 year old Indian cricketer who bats left handed and bowls slow left arm orthodox.
He made his first-class debut for Chhattisgarh in the 2016-17 Ranji Trophy on 6 October 2016.
He made his Twenty20 debut for Chhattisgarh in the 2016-17 Inter State Twenty-20 Tournament on 29 January 2017.
He made his List A debut for Chhattisgarh in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 30 September 2018.
The Club would like to thank Cricglobal for its assistance and expertise during the acquisition process/contractual negotiations.
Ben Raine has agreed to play for the Club when he is not required by Durham County and captain Shaun Smith is delighted to have him on board.
"Ben may not be available for many games but if he is able to play, he'll be a tremendous asset. It will be great to see him back at his boyhood club", enthused Smith.
Ben played for Phili as a junior before joining the County and following a spell with Leicestershire he returned to the Riverside where he has starred with bat and ball. His brother Tom is a regular in the Phili first XI and is the club's vice chairman.
The Club would like to welcome all of our new signings and wish them a successful 2020 season.

The Club would like to thank the players leaving for their performances in all forms of cricket they played last season and would like to wish them well for the future.
