  • Philadelphia Cricket & Community Club | Venue

    The Club has facilities available for occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, christenings, fitness classes, funeral teas, meetings, training events etc.​ Food and music are both available should they be required although we do allow self catering as an option if preferred. Venue Philadelphia Cricket & Community Club is a convenient and affordable setting for a variety of events. The facilities of the Malcolm Pratt Lounge are available for occasions such as weddings, birthday parties, celebrations, christenings, fitness classes, funeral teas, meetings, training events etc. Food and music are both available should they be required although we do allow self catering as an option if preferred. For further details or to book, please contact our bar manager Paul Thompson on 0779 009 4116 or 0191 584 1348 or complete our enquiry form . The Club also has the Tom Clish Lounge , known locally as "the Bar". All of our facilities offer ample car parking (approx. 40 bays) and enjoy views of the cricket ground.

  • Philadelphia Cricket & Community Club | Coaching Staff

    Details of our coaching staff can be found on this page. Coaching Staff The Club currently has 2 qualified coaches providing all coaching activities to all members of our playing staff from the youngest to the oldest. If you would like to contact any of our coaches then please contact them in person or via the Club's email address philadelphia.ccc@gmail.com . Tom Raine Tom joined the Club at the age of 12 and broke into the 1st team at 15. Apart from brief spells at Murton and Castle Eden, Tom has played all of his career at the Club. Tom is a fully qualified coach having obtained an ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults, is DBS checked and has a Safeguarding Young Cricketers certificate. Tom currently manages the Under 18s team and is the Lead Activator for the Club's popular All Stars programme. Adam McGuire Adam joined the Club in 2002 and represented the County until the age of 18 and played in various r epresentative league sides at various age groups. Adam has played 1st team cricket since age 14/15 and has been at the Club for over 17 years apart from a brief 2 year spell elsewhere. Adam is a fully qualified coach having obtained an ECB Level 2 Certificate in Coaching Young People and Adults and is DBS checked and has a Safeguarding Young Cricketers certificate.

    Looking for a room for your event? Recently renovated to a very high standard, the Malcolm Pratt Lounge can be configured to suit your requirements. The room has patio doors leading to the cricket ground and provides panoramic views of the cricket ground. Can accommodate up to 100 people. Malcolm Pratt Lounge This room is self-contained with its own access to the bar serving area. It has recently been renovated to a very high standard and can be configured to suit your requirements. The room has patio doors leading to the cricket ground and has several large windows providing a panoramic view of the cricket ground. The room has access to a kitchen if required and also contains disabled toilet facilities and can be configured to provide a dance floor. The room will accommodate any size of party up to 100 people.

Summer Festival 28 - 30/06/2024 We are pleased to inform you that the Summer Festival, which is the Club's biggest money-raising event of the year, will go ahead from 28th to 30th June 2024. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Friday, 28th June We begin the weekend with a Bonkers Bingo (£10 per player) and Karaoke night. Tickets are now available for this event. The programme is: 2.30pm Daniel Maple Whether playing classic covers in his own unique style or his own original material with a Blues/Rock influenced genre, Daniel has amazed audiences and fellow musicians alike with his vocal range, musical knowledge and guitar skills, all delivered in a charismatic entertaining performance. 4.30pm Jamagotchi Experienced 5-piece 90's nostalgic Pop, Rock & Indie band. Playing hits from Blur, Travis, Pixies, Bryan Adams, R.E.M, 4 Non Blondes, Stereophonics, Deee-lite, Cranberries, Republica, The Rembrandts, Pulp, Supergrass and much more! 6.30pm The Codgers The Codgers have been together for over 20 years playing pubs and clubs all over the North East of England with a mixture of classic rock and pop songs by The Faces, Rolling Stones, Creedence, Bon Jovi, The Cult, AC/DC, Rod Stewart, Thin Lizzy, Manics, U2 and more. 8.30pm T-Rox A remarkable, authentic, live tribute show featuring the very best seventies mega-hits. Tickets are £12 if bought in advance and £13 at the gate. Entry is free but all activities are chargeable. Hot and cold food is available on all 3 days. No alcohol or food to be brought into the venue. Please be aware that a bag search will be in operation by a security company.
